I havn't done an update on Oliver Cuthill who is in College in the USA and plays for the University of New Orleans in the Sun Belt Conference Div 1 so I thought i would give those that are interested a brief report. This is the first season back since Hurricane Katrina created havoc and destruction in New Orlean's and caused the tennis program to be put on hold. The Privateers moved into the national rankings after beating then-No. 59 South Alabama 5-2 . The victory by Coach Kanga's squad was the first in school history against the Jaguars, a team that has 18 Sun Belt Conference titles to their name. The team has been able to put together a number of wins thanks to the team's depth .Oliver Cuthill (6-1 in dual play) has produced the most consistent results for the squad this year, posting a 4-0 record at No. 6.This week the University of New Orleans men's tennis team will look to snap a two-match losing streak as they travel to Southern Miss on Tuesday at 2 p.m. before hosting Samford at the University Tennis Center on Friday at 2 p.m. You can find out all the Privateers tennis news at this link
