Tom Deeley(South Canterbury - Southern) showed why Team event matches can produce different results than Main Draw, Tom scored a 3 set win over the guy who beat him in two sets first round of the Main Draw. The advantage of having coaches speak to players at the change of ends is a great benefit to players.Southern Boys are locked in a Battle with Northern at 2 rubbers all after singles wins from Henry Hailes and Tom Deeley pictured above in action.Earlier yesterday Southern Boys lost 5-1 to Waikato with Henry Hailes picking up the only win.
