Roland Garros Day 8- Tips

Well it was a day a few seeds hit the dust and are on their way to Wimbledon and the grasscourt season.Andy Roddick was sent packing in straight sets by Russian Teimuraz Gabashvili.How serious was Roddick about Paris, his build up wasn't there and neither was his thinking he could win this event.What on earth happened to David Ferrer the 9th seed , at least Roddick has some excuse in the fact he cant play on clay but Ferrer!And goodbye Ivan Ljubicic as tipped bye the eye he too went the same direction as the above....OUT of the tournament.And to make matters worse American Robert Ginepri gave the former French Open Champ Juan Carlos Ferrero a gentle push out the door also. At least Verdasco and Djokovic went through.I guess all the girls in the locker room where smiling with the defeat of 13th seed Marion Bartoli and the Match of the day Henin Vs Sharapova resumes tonight. Yesterday was a disaster for tipping from the eye.Lets see if today can be better.

Elena Dementieva(RUS)[5] vs. Chanelle Scheepers(RSA)
Surely the Russian will be too experienced.But Scheepers has had a very good tournament and will be tough.

This should be a beauty. Petrova is on form and I think will be the winner,rumour has it she is wearing the same undies as Venus for the match...but different color of course.

Toss a coin for this one....heads the Russian

Flavia Pennetta(ITA)[14] vs. Caroline Wozniacki(DEN)[3]

Wozniacki is tough so I'm sure she will get there just

Home town crowd enough to get Tsonga through.Stop with the Im carrying an injury between points and then chases like he hasnt during the point.

Ok guess we are going to see if Soderling is Pretender or contender with this match up.

Andy Murray(GBR)[4] vs. Tomas Berdych(CZE)[15]
I have tipped against Murray every time ,so why change!.
