Wimbledon Day 3

A few seeds fell yesterday including high profile players Fernando Verdasco the Men's 8th seed falling to Fabio Fognini.Verdasco under performs in Grandslam's maybe to many underwear adds!Aussie hope Sam Stosur fell to Kaia Kanepi - a really disappointing result! The grass courts have not been a happy hunting ground for stosur falling consistency in first round appearances. The main players marched on to Round 2 and Andy Murray is the last British player standing in either Men's or Ladies singles! This will create the usual support for Murray from British supporters......expectations can create a burden that players like Henman have found too great in the past.

The Queens visit to Wimbledon is on every players mind. The Great Serena had this to say when asked.

Q. What are your thoughts about Thursday with the Queen’s visit and how are your curtsy practices going?

SERENA WILLIAMS: I was going to curtsy today on the court afterwards, but I think I flubbed it. So I’m definitely going to work on it a little more. I’m trying to tone down my wrist action (laughter). But my curtsy is really fun. It’s something that she’ll definitely never forget, if I ever even get a chance to meet her.
No, we really don’t do that so much in the United States, so I’m really working hard on it.

Now if you followed my Tips yesterday especially in the Men's I gave you some good bets! Malisse over Ferrero....Lacko over Baghdatis.....Haase over James Blake

MINI WIMBLEDON CONTEST

Well on to the Second Round and your selections are now due.Remember you must stay in the same genre ie if you picked in Mens you always select in Men's.Selections needed from.THE EYE,Willy,LuLu,Broz,Smasherova, gabz, brown eye bombshell, thirsty,Kimmy,Willy or won't he.PLEASE USE THIS POST FOR SELECTIONS! Remember you can select from any round two match-ups but stay in your genre and you cannot select a player you have chosen before! GOOD LUCK.

On a final note , My Tip for the title is Nadal. His pivotal game should be against Sodering and that will be tough... should he get through that he will go all the way.Just noticing his look and body language comapared to Federer in his first round match.I can say that Nadal looks like he's here to do the business.
